Ipswichtown striker Liam Dellup has linked his move away from the club at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has contributed 14 goals this season, and he is undoubtedly one of the best young attackers in the Premier League. The striker could move when Ipswich descends to the championship at the end of the season. He deserves to play in the Premier League next season, and he has linked to multiple clubs.
Manchester United are keen to sign him. They’ve struggled with offense this season, and Delap could be an upgrade to Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund.
Former Premier League star Paul Mason has urged players to join a club that fits perfectly. He considers the move to Aston Villa to be ideal for the 22-year-old striker due to their backlash philosophy.
He said on Birmingham Live: “He needs to sit with his agent and his father (former Stoke midfielder Rory Dellup). He knows football after playing at the top level.
“For me, the team that checks the box is Aston Villa. They have a big pitch and they play in counterattack so the team comes and goes to Aston Villa.”
It will be interesting to see if Aston Villa has decided to make a move for him in the near future. The 22-year-old is one of the best young talents in the Premier League and he could prove to be a great acquisition. He was able to form a solid partnership with Ollie Watkins in the offense. The West Midlands Club has been overly dependent on Watkins in recent seasons, ensuring that they can use another striker who can share the burden of goalscoring with England International.
Having a quality striker like Dellup will certainly excite Aston Villa fans. And we’re preparing to find the best way to buy Aston Villa vs PSG tickets ahead of the clashes of the Champions League quarterfinals.
Aston Villa movement is perfect for Liam Dellup
Delap wants to compete at a high level, and Aston Villa can offer him the opportunity. They have built a competitive team and are competing in the Champions League this season. They have high quality players at will and could compete for the trophy next season as well.
The West Midlands Club should be able to provide him with enough games too. Participating in them may be ideal for his development. It would be interesting to see where he ends.
