Arsenal “signs” another player, which means the “sensational” ace leavesFenerbahce’s chief travels to the UK for consultation with Thomas Partey

Arsenal is poised to revamp their teams in many regions this summer as manager Mikel Arteta aims to have more than 20 years waiting for the Premier League title.

Mikel Arteta’s side was very busy last week.

The gunner is already set to sign both midfielder Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper Kepa Arizabaraga, the former signing his papers as a new Arsenal player last week, while the latter has completed the last few days (Sky Sports).

Join Zubimendi and Kepa and Danish international midfielder Christian Norgaard will be involved. After Keith Andrews’ side and the North Londoners agreed to the initial £10 million transfer, the captain of Brentford was handed a green light to join Arsenal.

Arsenal has also surpassed his contract with Valencia defender Christian Mosquera. So it appears that the large-scale work of new sports director Andrea Berta has paid dividends after this update last week.

Norgaard’s signature was not initially expected, but news surrounding the weekly midfielder Thomas Partey and his impending departure seems to have pushed Berta to source immediate Ghanaian replacements.

The 32-year-old enjoyed his best campaign ever at Arsenal last season, making over 50 appearances while still keeping concerns of past injuries behind him, which led the club to talks about contract extensions.

However, these arguments ultimately failed to reach a positive outcome, with Part becoming “planning to leave” Emirates after his contract expired on June 30th.

Now, the problem is:

Fenerbahce’s chief travels to the UK for consultation with Thomas Partey

According to Turkiye Gazetesi, as translated by Sport Witness, Fenerbahce Sporting Director Devin Ozek is flying to the UK for consultations with Partey.

Ozek will talk to exit-bound Leicester City midfielder Willfried Ndidi about his potential move to the Turkish super rig, but he said, “It’s thought that “particularly “‘” is hoping to build a team that can challenge Galatasarei.”

Ndidi continues to sign with King Power until 2027, but Partey’s free agent status soon presented Fenerbahce with a great opportunity to bolster Mourinho’s midfield with proven experience and quality, with zero transfer costs.

The terms provided by Fenerbahce are not yet detailed, but it will be interesting to see if they can seduce part-timers with wages comparable or similar to their current income at Arsenal, which is set to deplete in the coming days.
