Wales without Ampadu too
Welsh fans will be unable to make the trip to Amsterdam but Rob Page will also be without Ethan Ampadu after his red card.
Wales managed to progress to the knockout stages of the European Championships once again after a 1-0 defeat against Italy was enough to keep them in second place despite Switzerland beating Turkey.
Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey have been integral to the success of the Welsh side and will need to be on top form as they take on Denmark in the next round.

Ampadu though who was shown a red for a stamp during the 1-0 loss to Italy was defended by the pair.
“I actually didn’t see him take too much of the player but I didn’t really see too much,” Bale said.
“Obviously I’m going to argue to try and defend Ethan but it was unfortunate.”
Ramsey said it was ‘harsh.’
“We dug in for Ethan. I feel sorry for him but we have each other’s backs out there and we finished off the job,” said the Juve man.
“I think it was a bit harsh maybe. I know he certainly caught him but it’s one of those decisions that can go either way.”
Why no Welsh in Amsterdam
Baku and Rome have so far been the destinations the Welsh have travelled to with hundreds of supporters in tow. However, none will be able to travel to the Dutch capital, here’s why:
The Welsh health minister Eluned Morgan has said that the Netherlands will not allow any supporters in the country.
“We have received guidance from the police in Amsterdam, who have told us that they are not going to let Welsh fans into the country. This means that we must encourage them to stay here and watch the matches in a responsible way,” says Eluned Morgan.

The UK is on the list of countries not considered safe by the Netherlands. However, whilst Denmark is also not considered safe, the fan coordinator for the country has denied any knowledge of supporters not being allowed to travel to Amsterdam.
“I am not aware that this should apply to the Danish fans. I have not heard anything about that,” said Anders Haagen
This will be interesting to see if any supporters will be there. With how close the two neighbouring countries are, there are likely to many Danes already in the Netherlands who will be able to attend. It is unlikely the same can be said for the Welsh.
