Arsenal have 2021-22 Teamgeist kit revealed
German apparel juggernaut Adidas have turned the clock back fifteen years, after their latest design was revealed thanks to Footy Headlines; a Teamgeist kit for Premier League outfit Arsenal for the 2021-22 season:

Expected to release in November, the layout of the design resembles the Teimgeist official match ball for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, with the curved stripes seen under each arm a direct representation of the memorable ball pattern.
Unlike other kits released this season from both Adidas and Nike that have been far more intricate, this effort not only draws inspiration from the match ball, but the Teamgeist kits themselves from the same tournament. Bayern Munich have already teased their official kit for the 2022 season in the same layout, as Adidas could be using this template across many of its current kit deals.
Invoking yesteryear through a shirt
Most importantly, the feeling any Arsenal fan will get when seeing the leaked images above instantly teleports them back to 2005-06, when the Gunners were embarking on their final season at Highbury before switching house to the Emirates.

O2 was the main short sponsor, Thierry Henry, Robert Pires, Dennis Bergkamp, and Cesc Fabregas were all still adored beyond measure, and the club was amongst the elite in the European game, reaching the final of the Champions League.
It may seem silly to some, but during frustrating times like these for a club that has fallen well adrift of where many feel it has the right to belong, any connection to happier times of the past will undoubtedly go over incredibly well with a fanbase that is increasingly disconnected in many respects.
Adidas will likely have a fan-favorite with this one.
