Leeds United play host to West Ham
Leeds United will look to bounce back from a poor start to their Premier League season when they host high-flying West Ham this Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side impressed last campaign, but have struggled in the top-flight this time around. Yet to pick up a win from their opening five games (3 draws and 2 losses), they sit in 17th place, hovering just above the relegation zone.
Leeds did, however, pick up a victory on penalties in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, which has seen them rewarded with a trip to Arsenal in the fourth round.

West Ham, by contrast, are flying high having taken eight points from their opening games, while knocking Manchester United out of the Carabao Cup last night. With two sides on such different trajectories, can Leeds turn the tide?
Bamford amongst injury problems leaving Leeds threadbare
Such a feat will be made incredibly difficult by the number of injury concerns that Leeds are facing at present. The Yorkshire outfit are set to be without Patrick Bamford, Robin Koch and Diego Llorente for the weekend, something which was confirmed by Marcelo Bielsa in his pre-game press conference.
Meanwhile, Raphinha, Jack Harrison and Luke Ayling are all touch and go ahead of the encounter, while Pascal Struijk remains suspended after his sending off against Liverpool.
From Bielsa’s press conference – Bamford, Koch and Llorente all out of Saturday game aganst West Ham with injuries. Struijk suspended. Decisions still to be made on Raphinha, Harrison and Ayling. #lufc

This means that it could well be a very different looking Leeds United team fielded against West Ham this weekend.
