A recent report from England has linked Tottenham with Juventus star, Dejan Kulusevski.
Kulusevski’s Juventus stint
Juventus would sign Dejan Kulusevski from fellow Serie A side Atalanta in January of 2020.
The Turin-based outfit are believed to have paid around £31.5m for the winger.
Kulusevski was then loaned to Parma for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign, before being handed a chance to impress at Juve from 2020/21.
The Swedish international endured a mixed first season in Turin, which saw him score seven and assist seven in 47 outings across all competitions.
And the 21-year-old has since struggled for regular action across the 2021/22 season thus far. He has featured in all of the Bianconeri’s league games, but has largely been used as a substitutem and completed 90 minutes on just one occasion.
Kulusevski is a right-winger by trade, but is very versatile and can play anywhere across the front-line.
Tottenham eye Kulusevski
Now, as mentioned above, Kulusevski, who is contracted to Juventus until 2025, is being linked with a move to Tottenham.
Spurs’ managing director is Fabio Paratici, who has previously worked with the young attacker at Juventus.
And Paratici evidently liked what he saw from ‘Kulu’, as the Mirror now report that the Tottenham chief is a huge fan of his talents, and is keen to reunite with the Swede in north London:
Spurs’ new managing director of football, Fabio Patrici, is a hug fan of the 21-year-old Swede and is keen to be reunited with him, having taken him to Turin during his time as director of football at Juve.
It is also claimed that Spurs are considering a January move for Kulusevski, amid suggestions that, if the winger continues to struggle to find a place in Juventus’ starting line-up, the Lilywhites will see if a deal can be done when the transfer window next opens.
