Marcus Rashford has, on Monday, provided a fresh update on his road to recovery following surgery back in August.
Rashford undergoes surgery
Rashford enjoyed a solid 2020/21 campaign with Manchester United, who ended the term sitting 2nd in the Premier League.
In 57 outings across all competitions, the attacker would score 21 goals and provide 15 assists.
Rashford then went on to Euro 2020 with England, with the Three Lions having of course reached the competition’s final.
However, throughout last season, the winger was forced to deal with persistent injury issues, with it reported last month that he may be forced to undergo surgery this summer.
And Rashford, in turn, indeed went under the knife over the summer, before taking to Twitter to post the following update on August 10th:
Thank you for all the well wishes. I had my surgery on Friday morning and everything went very well. A little sore but other than that I’m feeling good. Hope you’re all having a great day! ♥️ pic.twitter.com/cUZQpS0wIi

When Marcus Rashford could return for Man United
Following said update, injury analyst Ben Dinnery has provided an insight into when Rashford could return for Man United.
Dinnery claims that Rashford is said to be targeting a return to play after the international break, potentially in gameweek 8 vs Leicester or vs Liverpool eight days later:
