Neville’s controversial lineup
Gary Neville hosted a Q&A on Twitter this lunchtime, taking questions from his followers. However, what stood out to readers was one particular answer, where he was asked who his chosen starting XI would be for the Red Devils if everyone was fit.

Neville opted to partner Scott McTominay with Paul Pogba in central midfield, while Mason Greenwood and Cristiano Ronaldo were stationed either side of Edinson Cavani.

Jamie Carragher was quick to react to Neville’s side, pointing to a discussion that they had on Monday Night Football about Pogba playing on the left-wing.
He also noted the omission of Jadon Sancho, who joined the club just this summer to play on the right-wing.
