FC Porto vs Liverpool
Liverpool are back in Champions League action on Tuesday evening.
The Reds began their 2021/22 European venture by facing off with AC Milan at Anfield.
The tie was a closely-contested affair, which would see Milan head in at the break with a 2-1 lead thanks to late first-half strikes from Ante Rebic and Brahim Diaz.
Liverpool, though, would fight back and eventually come away with a big 3-2 win.
Jurgen Klopp and co. must now turn their attentions to FC Porto who, on paper, should be the Reds’ easiest group-stage opponents this year.
However, it is worth noting that Porto would hold Atletico Madrid to a 0-0 draw in their opening group clash, suggesting they will be no pushover when they host Liverpool at the Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday.
Liverpool injury news
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, Jurgen Klopp would hold his latest pre-match press conference on Monday afternoon.
The German would discuss a number of topics in his presser, including injury news.
Liverpool were fairly short-staffed in midfield over the weekend vs Brentford, with all of Harvey Elliott, Thiago and Naby Keita missing out.

And whilst Klopp did state that both Elliott and Thiago will miss out on Tuesday, the Liverpool boss did seem to confirm that Keita will be back as he said that, apart from Thiago and Elliott, everyone else is available:
“A big squad will travel. 23 are with us and apart from the longer term injuries, they are all in. No Thiago, Harvey and the rest available. No new concerns at the moment.”

It was also reported elsewhere that Keita trained on Monday ahead of traveling to Portugal:
