Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa was drawn on the latest personnel news stemming from his squad, on the back of the club’s downing of Watford this afternoon.
Llorente makes the difference
The Whites returned to action a short time ago.
After slipping to yet another concerning defeat at the hands of West Ham last weekend, Bielsa and co., on Saturday, welcomed Watford to Elland Road, eyeing a first Premier League win of the season.
And, when all was said and done, this is exactly what Leeds managed.
A solitary goal proved all that was required to see the hosts home in West Yorkshire, as a scramble in the Hornets’ area culminated in the returning Diego Llorente slotting home from close range.

Dallas latest
Amid an otherwise fine afternoon for Leeds, though, one concern, almost inevitably, was forthcoming on the personnel front.
The Whites have been forced to deal with a whole host of fitness issues over the early weeks of the campaign, with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Mateusz Klich, Raphinha and Jack Harrison having all spent time on the sidelines.
And, on Saturday, another was added to this list, as Stuart Dallas was forced to limp out of proceedings with a little over ten minutes remaining.
In turn, speaking during his post-match press conference this evening, Marcelo Bielsa was drawn on the wellbeing of his versatile midfield star.
The Leeds boss, however, admitted that it was too early to provide any kind of accurate diagnosis.
On the other hand, an explanation was forthcoming for the complete absence of Crysencio Summerville, who missed out versus Watford due to a bout of illness:
Summerville is sick and too early to say on Dallas. #lufc https://t.co/rfq4OlFFTR
