Chelsea trio Timo Werner, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Antonio Rudiger have taken to social media this evening, to respond to the club’s much-needed victory over Southampton.
Saints downed
Thomas Tuchel’s men got their Premier League campaign back underway a short time ago.
After slipping to a 2nd-straight defeat across all competitions during the week, the Blues welcomed Ralph Hasenhuttl’s Saints to Stamford Bridge, eyeing a return to winning ways ahead of the international break.
And, when all was said and done, this is precisely what Chelsea managed.
Despite a scare courtesy of James Ward-Prowse’s equaliser in the 2nd-half, goals from Trevoh Chalobah, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell ultimately proved enough to guide the hosts to a 3-1 triumph.
Ben Chilwell finished the hardest chance of them all 👏

Chelsea, in turn, have secured a spot atop the Premier League table, ahead of Sunday’s showdown between Liverpool and Manchester City.
‘Back on track’
On the back of the action coming to a close in West London this evening, it should therefore have come as little surprise to see Thomas Tuchel’s squad in jubilant mood, after bringing an end to a rare blip under the German’s watch.
The Pensioners can now head into the international break with their tails up, eyeing a 2nd successive victory when they make the trip to the Brentford Community Stadium in two weeks’ time.
And, as outlined above, on Saturday evening, a number of the club’s stars have opted to take to social media, to continue their post-match celebrations.
