Supporters of rival clubs across the Premier League landscape have taken to social media this evening, to provide their respective takes on Claudio Ranieri’s appointment at Watford.
Xisco out/Ranieri in
The first dismissal of the English top-flight campaign was of course forthcoming on Sunday morning.
Despite the season being just seven games old, on the back of a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Leeds on Saturday, the board at Vicarage Road came to the decision that it was time for change on the club’s bench.
In turn, Xisco Munoz, after less than a calendar year in charge, was removed from his role as Watford manager:

Attentions, as a result, had since swiftly turned towards who was set to take up the reins in Hertfordshire for the remainder of the term.
And, on Monday evening, this question has been answered.
In yet another post across the club’s social media platforms, the Hornets confirmed that legendary Italian tactician Claudio Ranieri has been chosen as the man to spearhead a new era at Vicarage Road.

‘Sacked by Christmas’
The reaction on the part of the Watford faithful has since proven a largely mixed one, with Ranieri’s credentials as a Premier League title-winning boss seemingly not enough to convince most.
But it is the takes of rival fans which have truly caught the eye on Twitter.
This comes with viewers across the English top-flight landscape having made crystal clear their belief that Ranieri’s Hornets stint will ultimately end in tears, with just some of the highlights showcased below:
