Burnley’s Premier League existence
Burnley, a large town in Lancashire, have had a football club in the top flight of English football for six successive seasons, and have prided themselves on playing a style of football that could be euphemistically described as “old fashioned”.
Working under Sean Dyche, who has just signed a new deal with the club, they are hard to beat, but do not score too many goals. In fact, not once in their 5 year stay in the Premier League have they ended the season with a positive goal difference, with the most goals scored being 45 in 38 game season, which came in 2018/19.
Four teams still remain without a win in the 2021/22 Premier League season so far:

With the club still awaiting the first win of their season, relegation could be on the cards this season, after years of flirting with the idea. Should they ultimately go down, there would be several football purists punching the air, while those who embrace the more physical side would probably lament the lack of a similar team in the division.
Confusing stat suggests that they are not as dirty as first thought
Perhaps in keeping with their physcial style of football, it was expected that they would have been punished for some rash challenges during their time in the top flight. And while they were in their first season, picking up two red cards, they have now set an altogether surprising record.
This comes as they become the first club for 27 years to complete a century of Premier League games without receiving a single red card.

They are far from angelic, picking up 273 yellow cards in that time, averaging almost 3 per match. However, the fact that no one has been sent off in this time is something to be applauded.
