A graph to have surfaced, centering on the wealth of the prospective buyers of Premier League outfit Newcastle United, has begun to turn heads online on Thursday.
Magpies making moves
Ongoings at St. James’ Park have of course taken centre stage in the English football media over the last 24 hours.
This comes with the planned Saudi takeover of Newcastle, originally set in motion a full 18 months ago, now looking firmly back on track.
After a long-standing ban on sports network beIN Sports was lifted in the country, a Saudi Arabian consortium set their efforts to take up the reins on Tyneside back in motion, with some outlets having gone as far as to suggest that a deal is now ‘imminent’.
The takeover, set to be faced for the time being by British businesswoman Amanda Staveley, is expected to set Mohammed bin Salman and co. back a sum in the region of £300 million.
A bit of red tape has held up the Newcastle takeover announcement but no big issues I’m told. Still expected today. #nufctakover

Man City dwarfed
Word of the movement picking up steam once more, meanwhile, has since been met with understandable excitement on the part of the Newcastle faithful.
So long subjected to the penny-pinching ways of current owner Mike Ashley, the Magpies, before long, could establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with not only domestically, but across the continent.
And, as outlined above, on Thursday, an insight into just how wealthy the soon-to-be kingpins of Tyneside truly are has been forthcoming online.
The figures look altogether daunting when it comes to the rest of those at the top of English football, with Mohammed bin Salman’s wealth dwarfing that boasted by not only the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham, but even Manchester City, one of world football’s richest clubs.
The pie chart below provides an accurate insight into just how financially dominant Newcastle United are set to become in the very near future…
