Concerns at Premier League giants Liverpool have mounted on Friday, on the back of news coming to the fore surrounding a potential injury picked up by hitman Diogo Jota.
Liverpool on song
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds have of course enjoyed a fine opening to the 2021/22 campaign.
With seven fixtures played out in the Premier League, Liverpool sit in 2nd place, standing as the only club in the English top-flight to have remained unbeaten to this point in October.
On the continent, meanwhile, the Merseysiders have also impressed, racking up Champions League group stage wins over AC Milan (3-2) and, most recently, Porto (5-1).

One major concern amid an otherwise fine start to the season at Anfield, though, has been ongoings on the personnel front.
A host of Jurgen Klopp’s key performers have already been forced to contend with spells on the sidelines, including all of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Roberto Firmino, Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott (expected to miss the remainder of the term).
Jota blow
And, as outlined above, such woes have since carried over into the early exchanges of the latest international break.
Just last night, it was confirmed that Reds talent Curtis Jones had been forced to sit out England U21s’ meeting with Slovenia, owing to a knock picked up in training:

And now, on Friday, yet another concerning update has emerged surrounding one of Klopp’s star performers.
The player in question? Diogo Jota.
As per the latest word stemming from Portugal, attacker Jota has emerged as a doubt to feature in his country’s friendly meeting with Qatar on Saturday night.
This comes with the former Wolves man having been forced to sit out training throughout the week, owing to ‘muscle problems’:
