The marketing drive behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United has continued on Friday, in the form of the release of a series of new t-shirt designs.
CR7 is back
The headline news at Old Trafford this past summer of course came in the form of Ronaldo’s remarkable return.
On the back of a 12-year spell away from the club, United, upon hearing of the Portuguese’s eagerness to depart Italian giants Juventus, showcased little hesitance in swooping to bring their prodigal son back to England.
Ronaldo’s comeback, in turn, was made official late in August:

And to say that the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner has since gone about stealing the show as only he can would be something of an understatement.
All told, across six appearances back in the colours of the Red Devils, CR7 has racked up five goals, including a brace on his 2nd debut, and a crucial last-gasp winner during a Champions League meeting with Villarreal:

‘Support in style’
As such, it is safe to say that, if the early evidence is anything to go by, then United’s decision to bring Ronaldo back to the club looks an inspired one.
Impact on the pitch aside, though, the return of their one-time attacking star has also proven a hugely beneficial one when it comes to finances at Old Trafford.
The 36-year-old is understood to have broken a whole host of jersey sale records in the days following his unveiling, with the Reds’ latest marketing venture surrounding Ronaldo having been revealed on Friday.
Taking to social media, United confirmed the release of an exclusive line of CR7-themed t-shirts, with some of the highlights, and a link to the club’s official store, showcased below:
