Noteworthy updates surrounding both the fitness and future of Manchester United star Amad Diallo have been forthcoming on Friday.
Reds stint
Ivorian starlet Amad of course made the highly-anticipated move to Old Trafford back in January.
The 19-year-old was at the heart of one of a number of deadline day deals struck by United last October, when he joined Edinson Cavani, Alex Telles and Facundo Pellistri in putting pen to paper on terms with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men.
Diallo, though, unlike the aforementioned trio, did not actually make the move to Manchester at the time.
With the Reds having been waiting for international clearance and the processing of a new passport for their latest big-money addition, it was decided that he would remain in Italy for the opening half of the campaign.

Upon his arrival at the Theatre of Dreams finally coming to fruition during the winter window, it subsequently came as little surprise when the African found first-team opportunities tough to come by.
All told, the 2nd-half of the campaign saw Amad afforded seven appearances by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, five of which came from the bench.
Across these outings, the teenage wide-man directly contributed to a pair of goals, courtesy of an assist, and the below-linked finish versus AC Milan:

January exit?
In turn, the widespread assumption throughout the recently-closed summer window was that Amad, in the end, would be farmed out on loan to secure more regular game-time at senior level.
In the end, however, despite United having added to the club’s attacking ranks courtesy of the arrivals of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo, the club’s up-and-coming Ivorian international stayed put.
This came after Amad picked up an untimely injury in training, scuppering a move to Dutch giants Feyenoord at the last minute.
As outlined above, though, on Friday, a pair of altogether significant updates surrounding the young attacker have been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has confirmed that Diallo is expected to link back up with the rest of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for first-team training in around ten days’ time.
This, in turn, will see the door opened to a potential January loan departure, with ‘many clubs’ understood to remain keen on the signature of the Reds talent:
After loan move to Feyenoord collapsed due to a muscolar injury, Man Utd winger Amad Diallo is prepared to come back training with the group this month. He’s expected to be ready in 10 days. 🔴 #MUFC
In January there will be new chances for a loan – many clubs still interested.
