Supporters of Premier League outfit Arsenal have taken to social media in numbers this evening, to respond to the latest remarkable goal netted by Sweden talent Alexander Isak.
Swedish sensation
The name of hitman Isak of course took centre stage in the media chatter this past summer.
This came as the 22-year-old went about announcing his name to a global audience, amid Sweden’s efforts at the European Championships.
Unusually for a centre-forward in the headlines, Isak did not actually manage to find the net across four outings with his country at Euro 2020. Instead, the Real Sociedad man began to turn heads courtesy of a unique blend of size, touch, athleticism, guile, and sheer eye for the spectacular.
Regular viewers of La Liga would already have been well aware of the remarkable abilities in Isak’s possession, owing to a 17-goal haul in the Spanish top-flight across the 2020/21 campaign.
Upon the youngster, who stands at a sizable 6ft 4, tearing up opposing international backlines in elegant fashion during the summer, though, others quickly hopped aboard the hype train.

A rangy, gifted Swedish striker with near-unmatched technical quality? The Zlatan Ibrahimovic comparisons were inevitable…
Emirates bound?
And, as outlined above, on Saturday evening, Isak’s name has taken its place back in the thick of the chatter once more.
This comes after the 22-year-old netted another sumptuous solo effort for his country, during a World Cup qualifying showdown with Kosovo.
After picking the ball up on the left flank, Sweden’s main man swiftly nutmegged an opposing defender, cutting inside towards the edge of the area before unleashing an unstoppable bending strike into the far top corner.

And Isak’s efforts, ultimately culminating in a comfortable 3-0 victory, have not gone at all unnoticed online.
Fans from across the globe have taken to social media in their numbers, to call for their respective clubs to target the Swedish standout ahead of the January transfer window.
One set of supporters in particular, though, have voiced their demands with, by some distance, the most frequency.
The fanbase in question? Those of Arsenal:
