Arsenal linked with move for Noa Lang
Arsenal are looking set to continue their long term recruitment plans in January with the Gunners lining up winter reinforcements through the vein of Club Brugge KV’s Dutch international starlet Noa Lang.
According to Belgian outlet Voetbal24, the Gunners want to add Lang to the long term core of young players at the Emirates under boss Mikel Arteta, and are considering levying a big money offer to Blauw-Zwart for his services.
It is suggested that Arsenal would have to stump up €30million (£25million) to prize the native of Capelle aan den IJssel away from the Jan Breydel Stadium.

Lang recently won his first caps for the full national side in wins over Latvia and Gibraltar, with Lang starting against Los Llanis and getting his first assist for Louis van Gaal’s outfit in the 6-0 rout at home.
Still just 22, Lang has been superb for Brugge aince his arrival from Ajax Amsterdam in 2020 on loan before his full move this past summer for €6million.
To date, the Dutch youngster has 36 goal contributions in just 50 appearances for Brugge, and he currently sits on 3-goals and 4-assists in ten Jupiler Pro League appearances this season while helping Brugge sit level for third and one point off joint-leaders KAS Eupen and Royal Antwerp.

With Arsenal’s recruitment policy becoming crystal clear this summer given the focus on young players that are capable of hitting the ground running while staying within a certain target price, on the surface, Lang already suits what Edu and Arteta look for.
As a player, Lang is a gifted one. His technical quality is already of a high standard while he can run at pace and affect play directly by being a goal threat tucking inside, or turning provider for other options.

His performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this season – together with another young attacker at Brugge in Charles De Ketelaere – showed just how effective he can already be against the best in Europe despite his age.
Lang is very much ready for heavy first team duties at a level higher than the Jupiler Pro League, and potential Arsenal squad mate Sambi Lokonga provides a prime example that Belgium continues to offer young players that successfully make the jump into Europe’s top-five leagues.
As for the tactical fit, Lang is primarily a left winger who operates like an inside forward and cutting in on his right foot. But he has considerable experience on the opposite flank, as well as in central midfield. His profile offers a tactically versatile player that seemingly Arteta values highly in his bid to shape the club on the pitch. The likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka, and Nicolas Pépé all feature in multiple attacking roles for the club.
It is unclear what a move for Lang would mean for any player currently at the club, but if Arsenal has a chance to continue to progress on the pitch, capturing a player of his calibre would constitute both astute and necessary business.
