Ahead of the tie, Tuchel discussed a number of topics in his presser, including team news. And it was largely good news for Chelsea, apart from the fact Cesar Azpilicueta is set to miss out this weekend:
“There are no fresh injuries,” Tuchel stated. “I still have to talk to the doctors. Azpi was not in training so it is too soon for him. Hakim was in training so it looks good for him. Reece was in training so no problem after his two matches.”
Elsewhere, Tuchel was also asked about potential transfers amid the talk that Roman Abramovich could sell the club, to which the German responded: “To be honest, there are no talks at the moment for the summer with Petr or Marina. There’s always ongoing talk, but the focus has been on all the different competitions, even aside from the noise.”
Tuchel: “There are no fresh injuries, I still have to talk to the doctors. Azpi was not in training so it is too soon for him. Hakim was in training so it looks good for him. Reece was in training so no problem after his two matches.”
Chalobah and Thiago Silva are ‘good to go.’

Burnley vs Chelsea
Chelsea head into the Burnley clash at a very odd point in their season.
The west Londoners are currently 16 points off the top of the Premier League table and even if they win their games in hand, it is hard to see them making up a 10-point gap in 11 games.
Below them, meanwhile, Chelsea are three points clear off 4th and 5th with two games in hand, meaning that they are, for now, pretty safe when it comes to securing a Champions League berth for next term.
As for Burnley, they are finally finding some form but have still won just three league games all campaign.
