Jake Dixon continued his dominant performance in the Moto2 Americas Grand Prix as rain and tires were involved in the exhausted race in Austin.
If it rained right after the Moto3 race, the Moto2 race was declared a wet race and tire decisions could be made on the grid for everyone. After dominating all the sessions, Jake Dixon, which started with Paul, was released by Wet’s Paul. As his main rival in the opening round, Manuel Gonzalez was one of several riders who chose smooth tire gambling on the grid after struggling with the actual wet.
ELF MARC VDS Rider took the lead right away as Gonzalez declined back to the pack. Barry Bartos was briefly behind before Alonso Lopez took over, but he soon passed away to Tony Arborino, but Dixon built the lead.
With the advantage of over 5 seconds, British riders paid attention to the final lap as the drying line appeared, and were too late for those who gambled, leading in the 4.148s for their first consecutive win in the World Championship Race and sixth win in class.
Dixon’s biggest challenge came from rapping the smooth rider and waving his hand as they struggled from his path.
Alborino eventually left Lopez behind to take home his second Blu Cru Pramac Yamaha Bike. This is the best result for the Moto2 team since their first podium visit to the Italians in 2025. He’s used to his new home.
The results on the line coincided with Friday’s Wet 2 session, with Lopez third in Team HDR Heidrun, his first podium visit of the season, completing the All Boscosculo podium.
Aron Kane, far from a rainy weather expert, has knucked towards the task at hand to be the top of the chased group on the line of Fantic Racing Lino Sonego, COTA’s best Calex rider.
He held back Izan Guevara. He has improved in all races this season, reaching fifth place in his second Blue Crew Pramac bike.

At one point, Bartos led the group before slipping, but after a slow pass at top rookie Daniel Horgado, he pushed him back to 8th for CFMOTO Power Electronics Aspar before finishing seventh in the final corner of Fantic.
Mario Aji showed rainy weather skills in difficult situations, managed wet conditions, then showed good looking Ninth dry tracks from Idemitsu Honda Team Asia, and Colin Vajer managed to collect the first points and complete the top ten of Red Bull KTM Ajo.
He was clearly marked Marco Slamirez, the top finisher of the American Racing team in his 11th home race.

The remaining points offered were the RW Idrofoglia Racing GP fade start from fourth place, then 13th, reigning Moto3 champion David Alonso, who won ASPAR in 14th and 15th place, and Alex Escrig, The Best Of Forward Riders.
Adrian Fuertas confronted it before turning the wheels in rage and hadn’t gotten an American truck, so the rookie started at the end and had a long lap penalty that helped him crash under the yellow flag. The weather allowed us to move forward and missed the points on the 16th.
The Diogo Moreira was the best smooth rider on the checkered flag on the 21st. Manuel Gonzalez got the fastest lap in the race on the final lap – 22 days too late.
Home rider Joe Roberts was the American podium finisher last season and was second in Kota. This time, American racing riders had a Texas that they would forget. After a good start to the weekend, he was shuffled from the location of the progression and then qualified on the 19th. He was second in FP1.
The format suggested he should have stayed home in the wet, but the chance to win at home also switched to slick and left the Americans 25th.
Crash, injury, replacement
Celestino Vietti was fourth before falling at the end of the race at Turn Twelve, but again dropped out to the Italian again on a turn of 13 turns.
Denniz Oncu was the only other disabled person on the four laps left at 113 when Turkish riders escaped the fight, with the bike spinning into the air fence.
Philip Salak was the first rider to be wrapped by Dixon and entered the pit to change for the wet, but his damage to the race had already been made.
Gutierrez is the only alternative rider in the United States.
Darryn Binder missed the race after picking up a fracture in his left hand.
Championship rankings
Gonzalez arrives and coupled with Dixon’s victory, leading his tire choices, and his tire choices see a change in the lead.
Dixon is currently ahead with 59 points, while Canette also came in second with his compatriots 46 points behind Britt, 13 points behind him.
Gonzalez falls to third place after not adding to his tally.
His rival may have scored points, but in his previous form we can see Daniel Holgado remains the top rookie with 23 points and eighth overall.
