Fabio Quartaro will move to the top of the timesheet during the final practice of Le Mans French Motogp.

Friday’s leader Mark Marquez was the fastest for most of the session before Gerez Paul Qualifier Quartaro advanced Yamaha by 0.066, but more than half from the Ducati rider’s new Friday lap record.

Gresini Rookie Fermin Aldeguer went on to have an impressive weekend ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez.

Maverick Venares was in the top KTM in sixth place just before Pedro Acosta.

Franco Morbidelli collapsed after getting back on track for a few minutes of closure, but remained in eighth place ahead of Johann Zarco and Luca Marini.

One qualifier will begin for people outside the top 10 on Friday, including home star Zarco.

Yamaha riders have a new engine and some chassis parts that will be used in the Jerez test, available this weekend.

Pedro Acosta and Sonchiat Chantra had arm pump surgery following Jerez. Acosta is riding this weekend, but Rookie Chantra is still recovering.

Pramac’s Miguel Oliveira is back in MotoGP action after missing the final three rounds due to a shoulder injury in Argentina.

Injured world champion Jorge Martin continues to be handed over to Aprilia’s test rider Lorenzo Sabadri.

Nakatani Takaki Nakagami is making her Honda Wild Card debut after retiring from full-time competition at the end of last season.

After comparing Honda’s 22 GP victory all-time record, Ducati can set a record if they win the French Grand Prix on Sunday.

Last year, official MOTOGP attendance records for 297,471 weekend fans were set in Le Mans.

However, the weather forecast warns of possible rain on Sunday.
