The PGA Tour heads to Augusta National this week in its first major of the year, the 89th Masters Tournament. The defending champion and world number one Scotty Scheffler highlight the star-studded field that is about to capture the iconic green jacket. Schaeffler, who finished four strokes ahead of Rudig Åberg, the runner-up at Augusta last season, is looking for his third green jacket in four years. Jack Nicklaus (1963, 1965, 1966) is the only golfer to win three green jackets in four years. This year’s recipients will also receive $3.6 million in a $20 million wallet.
ESPN’s network family and digital platforms will showcase the Masters, including live coverage for the first and second rounds at 3pm on Thursday and Friday at ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
