Results of three Thursday races at Northwest 200, North Ireland’s largest motorcycle road race.

Super Stock Race 1

Michael Dunlop defeated Dean Harrison after Davy Todd Overshot College to win Superstock Race 1 at the Northwest 200.

Todd led the opening two laps, but he ran for the last two laps in college. Dunlop, who started fourth, was up second by then and was in Todd when he made a mistake – allowing him to take the lead.

Dunlop had Harrison for the company on the final two laps, but at 4:19 on the fourth lap, the checkered flag was enough to increase the lead to almost three seconds.

Ian Hutchinson finished second in the early stages of the race, but he lost his position as the race continued to compete and exploited Todd’s mistake, but also Peter Hickman, who ran for Maghelaboi on the opening lap.

Todd finished fourth after a mistake, and Hickman recovered to fifth.

Josh Brooks had been putting pressure on Hickman for most of the race, but he ran a big metropole on the final lap before finishing sixth.

Connor Cummins, Michael Evans, John McGuinness and Paul Jordan closed out the top 10.

Alistair Seeley, who qualified second fastest, did not start the race after technical issues with his bike in previous superbike races.

Super Sports Race 1

Michael Dunlop won Supersport Race 1 at the 2025 North West 200.

Richard Cooper saw the man to beat the majority of the race.

Davy Todd completed the podium finisher and was Cooper’s most powerful candidate for most of the four laps.

Dean Harrison was on the podium until Dunlop’s late charges, but ultimately missed the fourth. Peter Hickman concluded the top five, putting four different makers in the first five positions.

Jamie Coward was in the front group early, but returned on lap 2 and ended up sixth in the end just behind Hickman, finishing eight seconds before Mike Brown on his second Russell Racing Yamaha.

Adam McLean, Alastair Seeley and Paul Jordan completed the top 10.

Superbike Race 1

Davy Todd took the lead from the right to the flag with his victory in the opening Superbike race at the 2025 North West 200.

But for Todd, who had Dean Harrison put pressure on the whole, it wasn’t an easy race. Harrison appeared to have a pace that would pass through Todd, but ran into a stability issue when pulling out of the slipstream.

Peter Hickman was more than two seconds behind Harrison at the end of the two laps, but was less than half a second before the start of the final tour. He couldn’t make a pass in the end, but he stayed third ahead of Michael Dunlop.

Dunlop is fourth ahead of Ian Hutchinson, who beat Jamie Coward to fifth place.

Elno Costamo, John McGuinness, Connor Cummins and Paul Jordan completed the top 10.

Alastair Seeley did not finish the race. The one rider’s bike expired on the Mill Road roundabout on the opening lap and looked like a Seeley BMW.
