The British Superbikes began their second day with a sprint race in which Bradley Ray became the runaway winner at Snuterton again.
Raceway Yamaha rider began with pole after one dominant race win, but charged for a lead from second place, realizing that his rivals needed to do something to challenge the #28 Kyle Ride.
Without another warning, Ray disappeared like a rocket, setting the fastest lap of the race, pulling away from the fight for the remaining podium, leading the line in 3.789 seconds, loosening from a lead of over 4 seconds.
Ray’s fifth victory has added back-to-back Race 1 victory at Snettan in 2022 before departing for WSBK. Ray has been featured on the podium in all seven races so far, six of which have won, comparable to James Witham’s start in the 1993 season.
A slow lap from the rider behind, Rory Skinner brings pressure from his fight with Ryde and Tommy Bridewell, with the trio packed over the closed lap.
Taking another chance, Ryde made his second move on the final lap. This did not allow Cheshire Moldings to move forward again and secure second.
Behind Ryde and Bridewell were right next to each other to finish off the photo, with the final Rostrum Slot sent to the Honda Rider in just 8,000th of a second from OMG Man.
Leon Haslam started in eight times and was still ahead on the final lap, and had to settle for fifth and sixth in Christian Idon’s Moto Rapid Ducati.
Josh Brooks is on track in the same fight, finishing seventh in the Dao race, with Mastermac Honda and Max Cook’s Charlie Nesbitt in eighth place on the 9th AJN Steelstock Bike.
Early on, Storm Stacey came in third place in turn 1, but was able to remain in good fortune as his line brought the front wheels into contact with Skinner’s rear. AJN BMW Stacey, who pushes hard to make the most of his Batam, fade 10th.

There were no disabled people in Race 2, but only 21 starters.
Glenn Irwin traveled to a local hospital in Norwich after intense practice collapsed.
Jamie Davis, Peter Hickman and Lewis Rollo all miss the Snettan round. Tom Sykes was on Rolo at Aprilia but withdrew due to bicycle issues.
Hickman is still recovering from an injury he picked up while competing at Isle of Man TT. Davis was scheduled to start the weekend, but after being knocked out to operate the arm pump before the round, he declared inappropriate.
Scott Swann is scheduled to retreat to recover from an injury he picked up earlier this weekend and return to Knock Hill.
Championship rankings
Ray continued to build a title lead, reaching 122 points in ’94 with a significantly 28-point lead over Ryde.
Haslam remains third after his comeback in 1988, while absent Glen Irwin is fourth overall with 74. The podium sees Skinner move to the top five with 63 points.
McPhee automatically was the top rookie in the race, pulling his point to 26 as Swann was out and his rivals remained at 17.
