Liverpool is reportedly taking part in an exciting move this summer that could write some very bad news for rival Arsenal.
The Reds are on the verge of winning the Premier League title, winning this weekend with the Gunners defeat and enough for Arne Slot’s side to finish the job.
And now it appears Liverpool can do a lot to them in the transfer market to make things worse for Arsenal.
According to Todo Fichajes, if the latest report is believed, Rodrygo Goes has received an offer from Liverpool, and the sale could help Real Madrid target Arsenal Star Bukayo Saka’s big money move.
Is Rodrigo out and Bukayo Saka in Real Madrid?
Saka appears to be an upgrade to Real Madrid’s Rodrigo, which looks like exciting news from a Liverpool perspective.
Even if Rodrigo has always been less consistent, or even if he had virtually no effect on the recent Los Blancos’ defeat to Arsenal in the Champions League, he has a decent record of 18 goals and seven assists in all competitions in the club and country this season.
Brazil International may be suitable for attempting to change the scene in the near future, and could certainly affect the LFC side of the slot.
The Merseyside giants are keen to upgrade such as Darwin Nunes and attack injuries Diogo Jota, and Rodrigo can fit the bill.
The 24-year-old offers threats of pace, skill and goals and can play widely or upfront as a central striker.
Still, Arsenal fans can hope that this won’t happen as Rodrigo’s departure can see them at the risk of losing Saka.
However, Liverpool fans will no doubt taste this deal that could hurt one of their main title rivals.
