Manchester United may already have signed a contract for the transfer of Napoli striker Victor Osimen for next season.
Nigeria International is currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray and has been shining in Turkish football this season.
Osimhen had another great season, scoring 32 goals and supporting five more goals in all the club and national tournaments.
It’s easy to see why big names like Man Utd are interested in Osimhen. Sportz even reports that he already has a contract with Red Devils.
According to the X post above, journalist Seldar Ali Serickler makes this big claim, with MUFC leaning as Osimen’s next destination.
MUFC certainly needs top class to sign up ahead of time this summer, and after his poor form, the replacement needed by Rasmus Hozilund, which makes him question his future at Old Trafford.
Victor Osimhen also has previous transfer rights from Chelsea
Osimhen may be united at the moment, but there have also been strong connections with Chelsea for a while.
Former blues star John Obi Mikel recently spoke about the situation at Osimen and explained how close he was to his move to Stamford Bridge last summer.
Speaking on his podcast, Mikel revealed that Chelsea felt they would only take the phone and resume negotiations from an already very advanced stage.
In fact, Chelsea will probably be a more attractive option than United now, even if both clubs are struggling.
These aren’t the old Chelsea or United aspects, and both teams are looking for a long way from competing for trophies like the Premier League and Champions League right away.
Still, CFC is at least a little closer to the top four at the moment, so it’s likely that they will offer European football next season.
In contrast, United will need a major rebuild after falling to 14th in the Premier League table.
