Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is determined to play in the Premier League next season and is in talks with Liverpool.
According to TBR Football, Liverpool is interested in signing the 26-year-old striker and will also face competition with Manchester United. The 26-year-old is one of the best strikers in the world, scoring 37 goals in 41 games for Galatasarai during his loan last season.
He’s definitely going to be a great deal of Liverpool and Manchester United. It is still unclear whether of the two clubs there will be an offer to sign him.
Osimhen recently declined an offer from Saudi Arabia.
He has no future in Naples, so they will be chasing him off forever this summer. He has a £63 million release clause on the deal, but it will be interesting to see if Liverpool or Manchester United are ready to pay.
Liverpool needs a Darwinnes upgrade
It’s no secret that Liverpool will need quality strikers next season. Darwin Nunes scored just seven goals in all competitions last season, requiring an upgrade for Liverpool. They want to fight for the trophy, and they need top-class players at their disposal.
Osimhen could prove to be a South American upgrade, and he will continue to improve Liverpool. The opportunity to join the Premier League champions is also extremely exciting for him.

Manchester United also appears to have no teeth on attacks and need quality strikers to lead the line for them. Joshua Zilkie and Rasmus Hozilund are overwhelming, and Manchester United need a better player if they want to bounce hard.
They finished in the bottom half of last season and will soon return to the Champions League.
