Powerforward’s position is beginning to attract more attention than in the 2025 NBA Draft as some prospects break out of the puck.
This year’s NBA Draft class is absolutely talented. Cooper Flag and Dylan Harper attract all the headlines, but the entire class is very deep.
Flag is the headline for the average little forward class heading for June 25th. Harper, on the other hand, stands out among some great point guards.
Ace Bailey and VJ Edgecombe lead the shooting guards in the 2025 NBA draft class. But one position that has quietly attracted a lot of attention is the role of the power forward.
If led to a draft, some prominent names rose to the predictions. Two of these players are currently in the lottery at NBA Analysis Network’s Mock Draft.
But who is the best power forward in the 2025 NBA Draft class?

Of the five players mentioned above, NOA Esenju, Colin Murray Boyless and Asa Newwell are the players their team is about to land in the first round.
In particular, Essenge has several lottery teams that speculate on the picks second. It’s unlikely that these players will break into the top eight of the NBA draft, but they can still develop into powerful NBA players.
Meanwhile, Fleming and Orbrich will likely be picks in the second half or early rounds that can immediately influence teams ready to compete.
The power forward positions are not as piled up as guard spots this year. However, players on this list have great growth potential.
