Manchester United reportedly failed with Barcelona’s left-back Alejandro Barde’s first 50 million euro transfer offer.
The talented Young Spain International has recently established himself as a key player for Barca, and it’s not too surprising to see other big clubs interested in him.
Still, it’s not so surprising to see Barcelona reject Man UTD’s offer to Barde, according to Spanish outlet Fichejes.
The Red Devils recently signed Patrick Dorgu at left back, but they seem to remain keen to strengthen in that area of their team.
This is not the first time United has linked United with a possible move from Valde, but now it seems difficult for them to make this deal.
Will Manchester United need Alejandro Valde’s transfer after Patrick Dolgue’s contract in January?
United have managed to get Dorgu from Lecce, as the Danish youth got off to a promising start at Old Trafford since joining in January.
Still, Ruben Amorim certainly wants to get rid of the unreliable injury-prone Luke Shaw, so MUFC could definitely use another left back.
Dolg and Barde could be two great options for rotating in that position, but it’s still not clear how realistic it is for Amorim to be here.
Barcelona may have had some financial problems in recent years, but it’s hard to imagine taking on players as important as Valde.
The 21-year-old certainly has a big future at Know Camp, and is one of the popular sets that have been featured regularly in Hansiflic’s first team.
Valde passed through the Barcelona academy along with other top young talents, Ramin Yamal, Pedri and Gavi.
