India launched the Asian Cup campaign with historic victory after Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dube were paired up to hand over their most humiliating collapse in cricket history: eight wickets with just 10 runs on the board.
The much-anticipated Asian Cup 2025 has India begun to face the UAE in the second match of the season. The Indian skipper broke the toss jinx and chose to bowl on the Dubai truck. This is the same foundation that India won the ICC tournament six months ago in February 2025.
Under the leadership of Suryakumar Yadav and the return of Jasprit Bumrah, India seemed to be embellished to take responsibility and launch the campaign with promisingness.

The UAE lost eight wickets within 10 runs. Historic collapse disappoints hosts
The first massacre began with Bumra’s Yoker doing the trick in the fourth of the game, but Chakra Barthy continued through another wicket in the power play. However, Kuldeep Yadav was an Indian showman.
Kuldeep goes wild throughout the UAE innings. Kuldeep was seen at his first time after going to India with his much-anticipated T20I return.
Kuldeep Yadav lined up with wickets to clean the central order, and Shivam Dube, the third sailor on the side, was handed the ball on the 10th of the game due to the absence of Arshdeep Singh.
Duve bowled the real outswinger who took the edge of the batter, and Samson caught it sharply behind the stump. With 4/7 for Kuldeep and 3/4 for Dube, the UAE quickly lost eight wickets and collapsed within eight overs after a power play.
