The 8ten racing team, co-owned by Peter Hickman and Davy Todd, unveiled the Man TT Island colouring, the first of its outfits, later this year.
Hickman, a 14-time TT winner and current lap record holder, was scheduled to partner with FHO Racing Team’s double TT winner Todd in 2025.
However, Faye Ho-Run outfits sensibly withdrew from road racing and British superbike efforts earlier this year.
Hickman and Todd took over many of the same crew members the former had previously worked at FHO and brought 8ten races to form, where they maintained BMW Factory Support.
As they wanted to unveil the 2025 colouring during their live podcast recording of TT last week, 8ten Racing pulled the cover out of the striking black and pink colour scheme.
“Last year’s TT was not the best for me on a big bike. We all know that, but we’re aiming to fix it in 2025,” Hickman said.
“Since the new team was announced, it has been nonstop and I can’t thank everyone for their efforts, a testament to all of their efforts to get everyone to see how they are now.
“The bike definitely looks mint. It’s time to go to the race right now. I can’t wait.
“TT is clearly at the top of my agenda and I’m excited to go back to the mountain course.”
Todd added: “Everyone knows we’re a little behind where we want, but everyone at 8ten racing is incredibly hard and seeing the superbikes with the current official Man TT colouring is fantastic. I’m so excited!
“We spun some laps on our bikes during our recent Alton Park test, and we are all keen to go right.
“Pete and I have worked hard both on and off the ground and can’t wait to go.
“Last year’s TT was incredible for me. We’re all working hard to achieve more of the same in 2025.”
The 8ten team endured a difficult start at Alton Park in the 2025 British superbike season, with Hickman finishing 13th in Race 1, but Todd didn’t finish.
Hickman finished 16th in his second race, while Todd was 21st.
The team will be re-activated at the Northwest 200 this week in preparation for TT.
