Chilean Joaquin Nieman won the Liv Golf Singapore on Sunday in five strokes, earning his second victory in four events this season.
Nieman, 26, made six birdies in the final round of 6 under 65 totaling 17 under at Sentha Golf Club.
“Today was one of those days,” said Neiman, who won the LIV event last month in Adelaide, Australia. “Everything went down my path.”
American Brooks Coepka came in second with a 12 under, while Ben Campbell came in third with a 11 under.
“We really don’t hit that,” said Koepka, who shot 65 on Sunday. “But the first one is out of reach, so I tried to find a way to finish second.”
Overnight leader Dustin Johnson carded a two-over round, including four bogeys and two birdies, to finish at the tournament’s 9-under.
In the team event, the Fireballs GC, captained by Sergio Garcia, won four of the four GCs, totaling 22 under, three ahead of the Legion XIII.
“This week has been a tough week because I was sick for a week and couldn’t help my team as much as I couldn’t help it,” Garcia said. “It was very impressive to see the performance that allowed my teammates to get this victory.”
