UFC veterans Jeff Molina and Darrick Minner may finally be shut down in regards to the future of their fighting careers.

The fighter plane was added to the meeting held on March 25th and recorded as a “hearing on disciplinary complaints or hearing on proposed arbitrary agreements.” That usually means that the Nevada Attorney General’s Office is already conditional on any punishment, which is voted by the approval committee.

Both fighters were suspended alongside Klaus in December 2022 after allegations were made public that the veteran coach was under investigation for rigging irregularities.

The whole situation exploded after Minner was defeated by Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in his first round TKO at UFC Vegas 64 in November 2022.

Krause and Minner were stopped for not reporting injuries prior to the fight, but the actual investigation surrounded a betting scandal where some sportsbooks may have refused to place bets on the UFC.

Morina was also suspended indefinitely after being identified as someone involved in a potential betting scandal.

Nevada Deputy Attorney General Joel Becker said at a committee hearing where Molina was suspended “evidence has emerged leading to the allegations that respondent Jeff Molina was involved in some substantive ways in the ongoing gaming scheme.”

After the allegations against Krause were first published, the UFC quickly moved the relationship between retired fighters and veteran coaches by issuing a statement effectively banning them from promoting or engaging in organizational competition. The UFC also threatened an immediate lawsuit against fighter jets that continued to work with Klaus since the investigation began.

“The UFC advises that Klaus and their respective managers are working with fighters affected. Fighters that have been enforced soon will not be permitted to participate in the UFC events to hold off on the results of the aforementioned government investigation.”

Minner was then released from the UFC contract.

After the initial investigation began, UFC CEO Dana White spoke briefly about the situation and the seriousness of the potential accusations.

“Do you know what the outcome of this is?” White said after UFC 282. “If I’m punished by them, they’ll be cut off. They’re going to go to federal prison – federal prison. If you want to do it with that stupidity, then you want to knock yourself out, ruin your life, don’t go to jail, go to federal prison.”

The fighter jets remained under the same temporary halt for almost three years, but it appears that some resolution will come at the disciplinary hearing scheduled for the Nevada Athletics Committee meeting on Tuesday.
