Josh Hart cites huge concerns about the Knicks after the "embarrassing" loss vs. Hornets.

Josh Hart heads out to the New York Knicks after an unexpected loss against the Charlotte Hornets.

To be fair, the New York Knicks ran incredible early in the season. However, as the season approaches conclusion, some cracks begin to widen for the organization.

Over the past few weeks, the Knicks have been handed over some unexpected defeats at the hands of a franchise struggling with the NBA.

The Knicks recently suffered a 115-98 blown defeat against the Charlotte Hornets, so they added another to that list. Yes, the same Hornet ranked 14th in the Eastern Conference.

Josh Hart is usually tasked with bringing energy to the Knicks. Hart’s role has become even more important since Jalen Branson’s injury.

The Knicks veteran spoke about his failure to do his job, along with a large general concern for the team.

“Psychological toughness. That’s my big concern right now. We can make all the excuses in the world. There are the best and the lowest in the season, and no one is 82-0, but the way to lose the game is embarrassing.

“We have to find a way to straighten the ship. We have to leave the next game more intense and hopelessly. Start with ourselves. As someone who is supposed to bring energy, I have abused them for the last few weeks.

“You have to prepare your mind for the end of the season.”

The Knicks are currently falling to a 43-26 record and are currently facing a two-game skid. As a positive note, they remain the third species in the meeting.

Josh Hart: “Mental toughness. That’s my big concern right now. We can make all the excuses in the world. There are the highest and lowest prices in the season, not everyone is 82-0, but the way to lose the game is embarrassing. We have to find a way to get the ship right. pic.twitter.com/igu1vf8mga

As part of the regular season, many teams face brutal scheduling for several weeks. The Knicks are now passing it.

Nevertheless, Hart refused to condemn the team’s poor form of travel fatigue.

“We can make excuses – on a 2.5 week trip – but not every team is an excuse. If mentally correct, we win some of these games. But we don’t do what it takes.

“We don’t make any extra effort, give energy, the right output, we’re screaming for reference. We have to pick it up.”

If the Knicks can’t run a deep postseason, they prove that their suspect is right. After all, losing to the West and East bottom feeders in consecutive games never looks good for title contenders.
