Now he is trying to revolutionise sports.
This week, the World Bowling League (WBL) announced its first franchise team, Team OMG. TeamOMG has announced that he is a lifelong friend and business partner of one marketing group, Cam Lewis.
What is the World Bowling League?
Starting in 2024, WBL is rethinking the sport of bowling by combining new rules, mixed teams, iconic locations and dynamic team-based gameplay, which has already been played by hundreds of millions of people around the world. The league “provides fast-paced bowling action in major markets around the world. The league aims to promote bowling into an unprecedented mainstream audience sport while providing a global stage for bowling athletes.”
“Bowling has always been my home away from diamonds,” Betts said. “It’s a sport of accuracy, mindset, community. I’ve posted my whole career. I want to inspire bowlers and fans everywhere along with Team OMG. Bowling has the excitement and commercial appeal to compete with the best sports leagues in the world.
