Michael Jordan is the best shooter of all time ahead of Stephen Curry, says the Fox Sports radio host

The host of Fox Sports Radio is amazed Stephen Curry’s status as the greatest shooter of all time.

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry has an outstanding resume featuring many accolades, including four NBA championships.

Curry is undoubtedly a future Hall of Fame, and he will most fondly remember him as the greatest archer of all time in the eyes of most fans.

Steph’s status as a goat shooter is mostly set, but that’s not the case, according to Fox Sports Radio host Rob Parker. In fact, he has chosen Michael Jordan over Curry as the goat shooter.

Despite creating over 4,000 3-point shots and changing the way basketball was played in the modern era, Parker denied Curry’s case with the greatest shooter of all time.

“He’s not the greatest shooter of all time. That’s what we’re going to put this down because I’m still going to say I’ll bring a lot of other players to big moments.

“This is what I’m saying, we can open this late because we really want to hear from people and hear what I’m saying.

“When you call someone the best shooter, it’s no matter what the situation, you want them to have the ball when you need a basket. I don’t care what they say.

“He had 14 looks with a chance to win the game in the postseason, and he’s not making one of them.”

Parker then claimed that the biggest shot Curry made was during the 2024 Parisio Games. But were they clutch shots? It is not a Fox Sports Radio host definition.

“The biggest three he made came at the Olympics, and they don’t count in the NBA either. Only one of those shots was considered a clutch shot.”

Before the rise of curry, there is no doubt that Lee Allen and Reggie Miller were considered two greatest archers of all time.

However, Parker went a step further and included Michael Jordan on his list of goat shooters.

“I think he’s disqualified because he’s considered the biggest shooter. Is he the biggest three-point maker? Without a doubt.

“But there’s a difference between the two. I really believe it. I’ll give you the ball of the game on the line before handing it over to either Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Michael Jordan, or any of those people.”

Essentially, Parker’s argument relies on the slightly inactive performance of curry in the definition of a clutch shot in the NBA. Your score must also be within 5 points.

Certainly, curry shoots 40.1% on playoff parameters. However, 41.9% in Jordan, 42.8% in Allen and 39.8% in Miller are not that far.

When it comes to including Jordan in the goat shooter argument, it’s simply a terrible view. Or have you forgotten that MJ was just 32.7% off the three-point line of his career?

On top of that, he also holds the record for the worst performance ever in a three-point contest after filming just 16.67%.
