Brian Windhorst says the team is targeting Cleveland Cavaliers stars.

NBA insider Brian Windhorst said the team is targeting Cleveland Cavaliers star players in matchups and beat them.

After undefeated 16 games, the Cavs lost four games in a row, finding themselves as the second-best team in the NBA behind OKC Thunder.

Their recent losses came against the Phoenix Suns, passing a loss of 123-112 on Friday night.

Donovan Mitchell was held responsible for the recent loss of the Cleveland Cavaliers as he felt the team would perform only if the leader stepped up.

But ESPN’s Brian Windhorst believes another player hunted by Cavs by Cavs is being hunted to make Cavs better.

Evan Mobley has had a stunning season so far, averaging 18.7 ppg, 9.3 RPG and 1.5 blocks with the Cavs.

Mobley and Green are currently leading the DPOY race, but Windhorst believes the team is targeting the Cavs All-Stars with Pick and Rolls.

Speaking about the “The Hoop Collective” podcast, Windhorst said: “The team is targeting Evan Mobley.

“He was beaten by the big boys of the Clippers (Zubac) and there’s probably a bigger boy out there.”

Windhorst gave the Cavs’ 123-119 loss as one example to illustrate how Mobley is targeted by opposition.

“Sacramento scored on the final seven possessions of the game.

Again, Mobley is targeted with picks and rolls, and Demar Derozan is one of the NBA’s modern great clutch scorers, not overlooking the NBA.

Evan Mobley was an important piece in the Cavs’ excellent run this season, as he is unable to replicate his ability to protect and produce elite offensive numbers to many others.

He has been raising the game every year since joining the league, but his performance this year has especially helped him become the forefront of DPOY recognition.

Mobley has been involved in award conversations in the past, but the Cavs record could drive him to win the trophy this time.

The team lost four games in a row, but they have the ability to bounce off the bounce. Despite the unfortunate run, they still sit at the top of the East with five wins separating them from the Boston Celtics.

As the playoffs approach, the Cavs hope Mobley will have his momentum and be the best in the postseason.

He received a decent playoff campaign last year, averaging 16 ppg and 9.3 rpg, blocking 2.2 blocks per game.

The Cavs need it, and perhaps the Celtics are a difficult team to beat, and only if they make the most of Mobley they will have a chance to get past Reignive Champions and reach the NBA Finals.
