Emma Radukanu guaranteed that her run at the Miami Open would continue on Monday.

Raducanu won a comfortable 6-1, 6-3 straight set victory, winning the first ever quarter-finals in a 1000-level WTA event.

She will face the winners of Marta Kostyuk and Jessica Pegula on Tuesday.

“I’ve come a long way since Indian Wells last week,” Radukanu told Sky Sports.

“I didn’t really feel good about my tennis, but there are people around me that I trust, great people who I enjoy leaving the court – that is very important to me.

“For me, I am very expressive, and I do my best when I’m creative and I am truly expressive. When surrounded by regiments, I can’t express myself the same way.”

Raducanu’s comments come after he split from his latest coach, Vladimir Platenik, just 14 days later.

She is led by Miami’s substitute coaches Mark Petchy and Jane O’Donogyu, but is looking for an eighth full-time coach within four years.
