Blessed with a stack of draft picks, the Oklahoma City Thunder traded one of their first round selections.

In 2024, the Oklahoma City Thunder decided to trade their sixth overall pick in Josh Giddy, the 2021 NBA draft.

OKC began to acquire Alex Caruso and sent Josh Giddy to the Chicago Bulls.

And it seemed OKC had made the right move. Our ratings at the head of the Western Conference in December were that it took time for the Thunder to win the trade, Caruso to play a valuable role, and Giddy to settle for an inconsistent Chicago Bulls team.

Josh Giddy has taken on a spectacular attitude since the Chicago Bulls traded Zach Labine for the Sacramento Kings.

Giddey has put on an impressive number and he’s only two away from posting a rare 4x double that won the Lakers in a Bulls statement.

He scored 26 points in a victory over the Denver Nuggets, but Coby White was outscored at 37.

And the pairing of the two confirmed former star Patrick Beverly that the Chicago Bulls had won trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

When asked to the podcast whether the Bulls won “Yes,” he added:

“I don’t think Coby White needs to raise the ball and waste a lot of energy. The transition from Josh Giddy can get that, I like it.”

When asked about Bulls’ playoff prospects, he started by whether he could beat the Atlanta Hawks or Orlando Magic in the play-in tournament.

“I think they can do it. They just defeated Denver without any joke, defeated them with Jokic. They just defeated LA.”

Beyond that, he added:

Meanwhile, at the Oklahoma City Thunder, MVP candidate Shy Gilgauss Alexander has expressed his delight in Alex Caruso’s recent contributions.

Speaking at a postgame press conference following his victory with the Sacramento Kings, SGA commented, “He’s been great lately.”

“He’s offensive and he’s confident. He understands his niche and his role in this group.

“Obviously, we know that he brings every night, but that’s a little different, you have to be thrown into situations, play different roles and defend different positions, but he definitely understood that.”
