'f*ck that Country': Joe Pyfer reveals how he lost 15 pounds before UFC Mexico's withdrawal

Joe Piffer explained more about why he didn’t compete with Kelvin Gastherm at UFC Mexico on Saturday. Also, due to such circumstances, he not only will he never fight in Mexico, but he promises not to come back there.

“I don’t care if it’s uncomfortable for you or not. I’ll never go back to that country,” Pyfer said in his Instagram story. “I did everything right. I slept in the tent. I still did all this work to get sick.

“Some people say I’m not food, I’ve suffered from altitude sickness. I’m not a geographical geographical elevation f*cking scientist, but I’ve been told as long as I’m adapted.

“Don’t worry if it’s uncomfortable for you. You’re not the one fighting, you’re literally not the one who sucks my balls.”

The UFC announced hours before UFC Mexico was scheduled to start Pyfer being pulled because of illness. The winner of the past Dana White competitor series contract revealed that after waking up on Saturday after a team dinner the night before, he agreed that the fight against Gastelum was not a wise idea.

“We ate food in places we thought were trusted,” Pyfer said. “A few hours later, I ran. I think it’s shit at least 10 or 11 times. Starting from 209 pounds… starting from about 194 pounds…

“As me, doctors weren’t wise to fight that way. I know that’s not something that everyone wants, but I have to be aware of me, my health and my greatest interests.”

Gastherm is ready for his middleweight return and began his fight week as a massive underdog. But as each day progressed, the betting line began to close significantly.

Past interim title challengers have quickly teased the “good news,” but Pyfer is hoping that the UFC will re-book the match against Gastelum.

“Look, I think I’m going to absolutely destroy Kelvin when Kelvin gets another chance. “I feel bad either. I didn’t give that guy a chance to make money. I don’t know if they’ll take care of him, but I’m never going to dry someone out high.

“We deserve to fight, it’s an interesting fight… he bangs and I can run it.
