In a recent video, Eddie Hall commented and explained about Marius Puzianowski.
“Marius Puzianovsky is not only one of the greatest strong people ever competed, but also one of the most inspirational figures in the sport. He won the world’s strongest man title five times and redefines what means defeating stereotypes and becoming a champion. Countless young people, including myself, go to the gym.
“His determination and willingness to push boundaries was unparalleled. Whether he was running five times more than anyone else in events that brought life to carry and victory. That kind of mind and mindset resonated deeply with me and many others.
Puzianovsky recognizes Hall’s explosive power, but considers his experience to be critical. “For the first two minutes it becomes an unstoppable steam engine… but I have the strength and experience in front of the youth,” he said.
Both men are imposing numbers. Eddie Hall stands at 6’2” and is about 330 pounds in this fight. Puzianovsky, slightly shorter at 6’1”, weighs about 311 pounds. Their total weight is over 44 koku (616 pounds), making this matchup one of the heaviest in MMA history.
Marius Puzianowski is one of the most decorated and strong people in history, winning the world’s strongest man title five times between 2002 and 2008. Eddie Hall achieved incredible feats, including setting a world record in 2016, setting 500 kg (1,102 pounds).
When these two Titans clash at KSW 105 on April 26th, the world will witness whether Eddie Hall’s debut will overcome Marius Pujanovski’s veteran skill set, or whether experience will beat raw strength.
