When Stephen Curry realized he was getting hot at the start of the 52-point onslaught, he thought of breaking the legendary record for Clay Thompson.

Stephen Curry was one of the best performances of all time tonight, dropping 52 points against the Memphis Grizzlies.

When he got tough, Curry went on with a winning performance that included 12 three-pointers, with the Warriors taking the fifth seed in the West.

His outing tonight was far from his performance against the Pelican. Even Steve Kerr, who normally can withstand praise for curry, thought he was poor.

But tonight was a different story. Curry turned the clock back with his performance. Curry is the best shooter ever, but he reminded me of Yuan Zhong EU.

After the match, Stephen Curry dealt with a 52-point performance. After being asked by a reporter, Curry admitted that after the first two shots he had thought of Clay Thompson.

Specifically, he was reminiscing about most 3-pointer Thompson NBA records made in 14 games and was trying to break that record.

“The first two shots I took in the fourth quarter reflected that. I thought about it. First, I moved on and filmed it…it was kind of a comeback to reality. If I were to do that, I was trying to get some good possessions. That was the ultimate heat check.”

Curry also spoke about surpassing the late Jerry West on the highest scoring list of all time. He was humbled by the fact that he had passed the players and guys he admired so much.

“I got a little emotional about it. It was special. What did he mean to our organization, the league, the world of basketball… to share the moments after the game. It’s special. That’s the logo.”

Steph Curry had a chance if he stayed late and hot in 14 3 seconds for Klay. I finished 12/20.

“The first two shots we took in the fourth quarter were a reflection of that. I thought about it.”

Steve Kerr also spoke about the star player’s performance after the game. He noted that curry took a break along with some golf and played a major role in his sensational outing.

“I can’t believe he’s still doing this. He’s at work and he still got it. I think (a week off) two rounds of golf helped this road trip. I was kidding.

The Curry and the Warriors look hot again, but there wasn’t much more time as the playoffs are expected to start soon.

Hopefully, the Warriors will continue to enter this strong momentum into the postseason and hopefully have the run their team can do.
