Coco Gough left his longtime agency and launched his own management company, “will take “big ownership” of his tennis career as he grows as an athlete, entrepreneur and changemaker,” she wrote on social media on Wednesday.

The 2023 US Open Singles Champion and the 2024 French Open Doubles Champion posted that the new venture will be called Coco Gauff Enterprises.

“This is just the beginning of an exciting new era for me, and there’s more to come. “As usual, tennis will remain my number one priority!”

The 21-year-old American, born in Florida and currently based, is currently ranked 3rd in the WTA rankings for singles and 25th in doubles. She’s as high as number two in singles and number one in doubles.

Gauff won a prize of around $23 million and has raised millions more from the approved deal. According to Sportico, in 2024 alone, her total income was only $30 million, making her number one among female athletes.

The business moves include starting a relationship with WME, an institution representing many other sports stars, including retired tennis great Serena Williams, and ending the relationship between Team8 and Gauff, a management company founded by Roger Federer and his agent Tony Godsick.

Gouff entered the scene at age 15 when he was the youngest qualifier in tournament history at Wimbledon in 2019, beating Venus Williams in the first round of the main draw and advanced to the fourth round with his grand slam debut.

“From the moment I first got my tennis racket, I always believed that my purpose had grown far beyond court,” Gouffe’s post said Wednesday, adding that he “want to make an impact,” “not just in tennis, but in business, charity, etc.”
