The Los Angeles recall catcher hunter Fedeccia to replace Freddie Freeman with an active roster.

The placed Freeman on the list of injured due to an ankle injuries, which are retroactive to March 31st. Feduccia is also left-handed and was already on the roster of 40 people.
The 27-year-old Feduccia made her MLB debut last year, appearing in five games, 12-4 with one RBI. Over five games this year at Triple A Oklahoma City, he went 5-14 with one home run and four RBIs.
Feduccia was drafted by the in the 12th round of the 2018 draft. Over seven minor league seasons, he hit 47 runs on .268/.374/.427 and hit 260 runs. In minor leagues, all his experience is done with catchers or designated batters.
Freeman misses a six-game road trip with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Washington Nationals. He is eligible to return to the first game of the team’s next homestand against the Chicago Cubs on April 11th.
