KTM is supported by the message that America’s MotoGP will retain their “Heads High” after hinting at their promise.

Last weekend’s race at an American circuit featured a chaotic scene with a starting grid triggered by Mark Marquez.

But Kevin Schwantz has implemented the rules against the other four manufacturers.

KTM needs to “hold your head high”

The financial difficulties revealed by KTM in the winter are being restructured, but their lack of competitiveness in bikes has been attracting attention in the earliest rounds.

Tech3 newcomers Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales offered little positive words about the new bike until they went to America.

Bastianini was in seventh place, which could have been even better without the starting grid drama that took away his smooth tyre advantage.

However, he was the only KTM in the top 10.

“Difficult results from KTM. But you try to do everything you can,” Schwantz analyzed.

“Bastianini has had far better results in the season, he’s back on the grid.

“They have to hold their heads high and think, ‘There may be some possibilities for this motorcycle.’ ”

Bastianini later confirmed that he was feeling good for the first time at KTM in Texas.

Vinaru claimed that Qatar’s next round could demonstrate the potential of KTM.

“I hope for big things” from Aprilia

Aprilia

Aprilia

Marco Betzecki came in 7th place, while Ai Ogra was in 9th place at Kota.

“Bez stood up there and disposed of it with them. That’s an advancement from where he qualified,” Schwantz said.

“The boys from the truck house were there. Aiogra was in the top 10. That’s two out of four.

“They miss Jorge Martin’s input, his rap, his data.

“When he returns to bike, we can expect some big things from Aprilia.”

Jack Miller has been recognized for his key skills

Pramac Yamaha’s Jack Miller tame tricky conditions and finished fifth. It was a continuation of his bright start to Yamaha’s machinery.

“It’s a great job for Jack to have Yamaha leading,” Schwantz said.

“Pramac is Yamaha’s first time and we’re working on the setup.

“It appears Jack can get more motorcycles from motorcycles than most, not in perfect condition.

“He did what we expected ‘Trira’ to do. He keeps him as close to the front as possible and goes home fifth is a great result. ”

Honda “Progress”

Honda has praised the major improvements since 2024.

Luca Marini was the eighth best finisher in Kota after Argentina, where three Hondas were in the top 10.

“It seems like both Yamaha and Honda have really made progress,” Schwantz said.

“They haven’t consistently knocked on the door on the pointy edge of the field, but they’re making progress.

“They can stick these things further in qualifying.

“And Yamaha is doing the same thing, closing the gap a bit.

“It may not be as consistent as they want to see, but progress is progress.”
