Alexander Isaac remains a target for Liverpool’s dreamsLiverpool’s contenders Joao Pedro and Hugo Ekitike

Liverpool is preparing to bolster their offensive options this summer, with fresh optimism surrounding Mohamed Sarah’s future at the club.

Today, it was widely reported that Sarah was about to agree to a new two-year deal with Liverpool.

Securing Egypt’s future is an important focus, but the club is also exploring options to add fresh firepower under the Arne slots at the same time.

Alexander Isaac remains a target for Liverpool’s dreams

According to Givemesport, Newcastle United’s Alexander Isaac remains a Liverpool dream target. The Swedish striker has scored 20 goals and five assists this season in just 27 Premier League appearances.

His ability to lead the line with pace, accuracy and calm has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs, including the Reds.

The 25-year-old has been on a contract until 2028, worth around 100 million euros, and has costly and complicated relocations.

Isak has established himself as one of the most consistent finishers in the Premier League and played a key role in helping Magpies end the long trophy drought by scoring recently in the EFL Cup final against Liverpool.

Liverpool is taking the time to respect Newcastle’s focus on top four finishes before making a formal approach.

Liverpool’s contenders Joao Pedro and Hugo Ekitike

If ISAK’s trading proves unfeasible, Liverpool has a choice. According to the report, clubs are continuing to come up with a potential target list based on data-driven strategies.

Among the final targets are Joa Opedro from Brighton and Hugo Ekitique from Eintrak Frankfurt. Both forwards are highly scouted and highly regarded by the club’s recruiting team.

Pedro enjoyed a solid campaign in the Premier League, generating eight goals and six assists in 25 appearances, and 10 assists for the club in 68 games with 28 goals and 10 assists in all competitions.

Meanwhile, Ekitike emerged as a German breakout star, contributing 19 goals and eight assists in 40 games for Frankfurt, bringing the club’s overall tally to 23 goals and 10 assists in 56 games.

Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez are leaning towards the summer exit, while Luis Diaz is reportedly promoting a move to Barcelona.

Sarah’s extension could provide stability, but the team clearly needs reinforcement after a season when Liverpool’s offense often appears inconsistent. Both Jota and Nunes struggled with the goal, and Sarah put a lot of strain on them.
