The Golden State Warriors fell to a shocking loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

There was only one team that needed to win between the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs, and that team lost.

The Warriors were defeated 114-111, with former warrior Harrison Burns sinking a second half-pointer to win the Spurs match.

This is a costly loss for Golden State, who will fall to seventh in the Western Conference standings, and they will have to win to get a chance to land a top six seeds.

After the match after the loss, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green blasted the team for lacking “grit.”

The Warriors started the game well and surged into the third quarter, then surpassing 38-23 in fourth place.

Draymond Green said:

He admitted: “We’re not kids. We’re adults. Champions. We know that it’s necessary… We ruined the game and we lost. It’s what happens.”

Green previously tipped the Golden State Warriors to win the championship. He has already won four titles with his team and knows what to need.

He clearly isn’t satisfied with what he saw from his team against San Antonio and knows the team has to respond.

ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins summed up the Warriors’ losses in a social media response.

Perkins wrote in X: “It’s scary for Golden State.”

The Warriors’ next game is against the Portland Trail Blazers, who are eliminated from play-in competition.

However, their final match is against the LA Clippers, who are currently in the top form and are now fifth in the rankings.
