Manchester United have two Premier League forwards on their list of targets this summer. Because five big names could leave Old Trafford.
The Red Devils have endured a rather disastrous season and remain in the lower half of the Premier League table, so it’s clear that a major change will be needed this summer.
However, it appears that Man Utd will need to sell at least one big name to afford the type of signature they want.
This says United are particularly keen on wolf star Matthews Cunya, a report from the Daily Mail.
Another target is Liam Dellup, a bit cheaper. Liam Dellup could leave Ipswichtown for £30 million if he was demoted as expected.
Manchester United opens to sell many famous players this summer
The email also appears to be open to selling Marcus Rashford, Anthony, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund, adding that up to five big names are available.
It’s not clear if all of these players will leave, but there’s certainly a possibility that Rashford, Antony and Sancho have no future for MUFC.
All three have received loans this season, and it’s hard to see Reuben Amorim give them another chance.
These are the players that should order the appropriate fees if they leave Old Trafford. So it helps United especially buy Cunha.
It is still unknown whether Cunha or Delap is a priority, but both players can add more to Amorim’s struggled team.
Delap is number 9, making it an ideal upgrade for Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Meanwhile, Cunha can play a variety of roles, allowing other attackers like Rashford, Antony, and Sancho to help United replace them.
