Kingsley Coman’s future in Bayern Munich is becoming increasingly uncertain, with both Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal reportedly maintaining a close tab on the situation as the summer transfer period approaches.
According to Sky Sports Journalist Flori AmplettenburgComan has informed internally that he is open to leaving Bayern this summer.
The French winger has signed a contract until 2027 and has a market value of 35 million euros, but he is no longer a guaranteed starter under Vincent Company and there are no consistent minutes, so the 28-year-old is considering new opportunities.
Plettenberg says Arsenal is a concrete option for Kingsley Coman
Plettenberg also shows that Arsenal is currently the most specific option from the UK, but Tottenham is also interested. However, the Spurs are said to be hesitant due to Coman’s huge salary demands.
Both clubs in North London are in the market for attacking reinforcements, and Coman’s experience and pedigree could prove worthwhile.
He reported on X:
As revealed, Kingsley Coman has already internally expressed his desire to leave this summer. The Saudi Arabian club is currently taking the issue seriously and is planning a visit to Munich for consultations with Bayern.
“In the UK, FC #Arsenal is the most specific option right now, especially as Leroy Sané is about to extend its contract with Bayern.
“Spurs want to sign Coman, but they’re currently in the waiting position due to his high salary.”
The era of Koman in Bavaria Munsi
The era of Coman in Bavaria is adorned with success. Since arriving in 2015, loaned out by Juventus before a permanent move, he has won multiple Bundesliga titles, national trophies and scored the winning goal in the 2020 Champions League final.
Despite the injuries regularly disrupt his rhythm, he remained a healthy and consistent performer.
In the current campaign, Coman has made 35 appearances in all competitions, contributing to six goals and four assists. He has accumulated about 1,600 minutes this season, which clearly shows the decline in his role under Company.
Arsenal, which has been actively seeking to strengthen its forward choice since January, sees Coman as someone who can add depth and European experience.
Meanwhile, Tottenham may shift its focus from Mathys Tel to Coman if it decides to oppose a permanent move of youth loans.
Liverpool is also turning, so if you want to land an explosive winger, both Arsenal and Spurs will need to move quickly.
